	RESULTS

	The Core Alcohol and Drug Survey assess the nature, scope, and consequences of alcohol and other drug use on college campuses. The following statistics are drawn from a sample of 71,189 undergraduate students from about 134 colleges in the United States. These colleges conducted Core Survey during 2006. All institutions used methods to insure a random and representative sample of their respective student bodies.
		CONTENTS

		Demographics age, year in school, ethnicity, residence, gender
		Prevalence annual prevalence, thirty-day prevalence
		Heavy and Frequent Use average number of drinks per week, binge drinking
		Consequences social and sexual effects, violence, injuries
